Who can apply to live at Open Door Solution?
Independent adults who are able to live on their own, follow house
rules, and pay monthly rent may apply. We welcome working adults,
DV Survivors, veterans, individuals rebuilding after housing loss,
and low-income adults seeking affordable housing.
Do you accept housing vouchers or government funding?
No. Open Door Solution is privately funded and does not accept
Section 8 or other government assistance at this time.
Are your homes supervised or staffed?
No. Our homes are independent shared-living environments.
Residents are responsible for their own care, transportation, and
daily needs.
Can residents have overnight guests?
Overnight guests are not permitted.
Is smoking or vaping allowed?
No. All Open Door Solution homes are smoke-free.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not permitted at this time.
What happens if someone breaks house rules?
Violations are addressed according to our House Rules Handbook and
Termination Protocol, which all residents receive before move-in.
